Shells of Cornwall

When in Cornwall, there is only thing any self respecting artist can do - get the watercolours out and paint some shells. Here are a few muscle shells I painted while in Cornwall recently... all on A4 watercolour paper. I was interested in how you think they all look the same, but once you start looking close, they are all very unique, with different patterns and shades. Most of these shells were from Polzeath beach; I collected them from several beaches to compare from each location.
